Internship Program
On behalf of MSHDA and in partnership with the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University, we at the Cool Cities Initiative host an annual program placing students in internships and fellowships in Michigan’s “Cool Cities.”
Summer 2009 marked the launch of the pilot program, with 18 students working in cities and neighborhoods across the state. The 2010 program kicks off with 39 undergraduate internships available through the three universities and the Michigan Suburbs Alliance, as well as seven summer fellowships for seniors and graduate students.
